How Einstein said that you can’t “blame” gravity for falling in love but we say you can definitely “utilize” gravity to fall in love with yourself! The Body Max IT6000 inversion table channelizes gravity through inversion therapy alleviating all your back problems and stress-related ailments to give you a fitter, younger body. So welcome the Body Max IT6000 into your life and get ready to fall in love with yourself all over again!

Absolutely robust, reasonably priced and well-built it facilitates full inversion thereby decompressing and elongating your spine to relax all your muscles. It is easy to assemble and features a dual pin system which helps you to ascertain the correct angle that you are comfortable in. Initially we experienced mild discomfort at the ankles but after a while it subsided. One minor downside could be its height and weight limits. While other inversion tables usually offer a weight limit of 300 lbs and height limit of 6’6”, the Body Max IT6000 can sustain only up to 250 lbs at a maximum height of 6’3”.

About the Body Max IT-6000

Size & Storage:

Although it is foldable, like most other inversion tables, the Body Max IT6000 is not the best but quite workable in terms of storage. It cannot be stored away into a closet as such but can be neatly folded up and stacked in one corner of the room against the wall. The handrails and the footrest protrude even after the machine is folded making storage slightly inconvenient. It can accommodate persons with height between 4’8” to 6’3”, which is lower than the limit that other competitor inversion tables offer.

Installation & First Time Setup:

The Body Max IT6000 is mostly pre-assembled with very less assembling required. Putting it together is fairly simple, since the instructions are clearly provided in the user manual. Tools for the same are also provided but we would suggest that you use tools of your own. It takes approximately 30 minutes or less to assemble it and can be managed on your own. Although it is not too heavy, some of you might require assistance in order to get the pieces fitted properly.

Comfort & Support:

Unfortunately, the Body Max IT6000 loses marks in this area. The backrest is quite uncomfortable. Even though it is claimed that the bench is padded, the padding is just not sufficient. You will require an extra layer of cushioning in some form; perhaps paste a layer of foam or sponge. Some may even require a pillow for additional support for the head.

Problem and discomfort with the ankle supports is a common complaint for all inversion table users irrespective of the company or make. The Body Max IT6000 being no different the ankle clamps, though foam padded, are not very comfortable and you will definitely need a pair of gravity boots or socks or good pair of sports shoes to reduce the level of discomfort.

The Body Max IT6000 also lacks a locking system to hold the angle of inversion. One has to constantly maintain balance to remain in the desired position.

Ruggedness & Durability:

Considering the budget of the equipment, Body Max IT6000 is very sturdily built leaving us with no complaints in this quarter. Although it is reasonably light, it is quite solid made of long-lasting tubular steel frame and is not prone to easy wear and tear. It comes with non-skid clips to prevent the table from slipping while using it for full inversion.

Ease of Use:

Being somewhat an elementary version of inversion table, the Body Max IT6000 although lacking the additional features of high-end tables, is appreciably easy to use. For all those who are purchasing an inversion table for the first time and apprehensive to spend too much yet want desired results-the Body Max IT6000 would be an ideal choice. The initial discomfort will eventually pass. The dual-pin allows you to easily adjust the position and the safety straps assist in controlling the preferable angle. Beginning with 5 minutes or less a day, you can increase the time limit as per your comfort or divide it into 2 or 3 sessions in a day.

Warranty & Brand Image:

Originally made in China, the Body Max IT6000 has a manufacturer’s warranty of one year on the frame and 90 days on the parts.

On the whole, when compared with other brands like Teeter or Ironman, the Body Max IT6000 doesn’t really seem like a favorable option because of its deficiency in the comfort area. However, the bottom-line remains that it serves the purpose and solves your back problems. Even if you have to spend a tad bit more to add foam to the backrest in order to make it more comfortable, it would still cost far less than most other inversion tables. In short, it is a total value for money. It might not be a highly upgraded version but it performs the same functions as any other expensive inversion table.
